Our dimensional metrology laboratory provides final quality control and inspection. Certification of dimensional inspection can be supplied with a guarantee of accuracy through N.A.T.A accreditation compliant with ISO 17025 requirements. The Marand laboratory is one of the largest of its type in Australia and provides full calibration, traceability and testing services.

    Following a thorough evaluation and selection process, Rolls-Royce has chosen Australian engineering company Marand as their preferred industry partner for the MT30 gas turbine enclosure manufacture and integration, should the BAE Systems Global Combat Ship – Australia (GCS-A) be selected for the SEA 5000 Future Frigate programme.

  • Land 400 opportunity provides future Ford Geelong site potential

    Today Marand announced a plan to breathe new life into the historic Ford Geelong facility. Marand is currently negotiating with Ford about the future use of the Geelong facility to open up further advanced manufacturing jobs for Geelong. Marand Executive Chairman Mr David Ellul said “As teaming partners for Land 400, we would love to produce the BAE Systems AMV35 Hulls and Turrets here in Marand’s Geelong facility. Marand and Ford Australia have worked together for over 40 years; I’m currently in discussions with Ford to ensure we can make this a long term reality in the next chapter for the Geelong community.”
